Frankie and Johnnie’s F & J Pine Owner Pleads Guilty to $3 Million in Tax Evasion


According to Empire State News, Anthony Bastone, the owner of steakhouse standby Frankie and Johnnie’s Bronx spot F & J Pine Restaurant has plead guilty to filing false tax returns. Along with the restaurant’s corporate ownership, he’ll have to fork over a total of $3.25 million dollars in sales tax and insurance premiums that were found to be owed after a three-year audit and investigation.
