Holy crap, this week’s Dish is a fiesta of news. How can you even stand it? Let’s begin: 1. Epic Burger is opening a new location at 1000 West North Avenue, ETA unknown. 2. Scott Harris never sleeps: the Mia Francesca chef just opened Nella Pizzeria Napoletana, is about to open The Purple Pig, and on deck has Francesca’s on Chestnut (January), Aldino’s (February), and Nella on Taylor in March. 3. The Karyn’s empire grows with Karyn’s Fresh Corner, a vegan, cooked-and-raw resto scheduled for January in the West Loop. 4. Rich Melman and the LEYE team might possibly reopen the now-closed VTK, but meanwhile they’re focusing on 5. their new Foodlife clone The Block, going into Block 37. And last but certainly not least, sad to say that 6. Wally & Agador’s is closed. There’s more, read it yourself.
