If a restaurant has an extra -e on the end of its name, you generally know what to expect. RB Grille, opening today in the same building as its sibling restaurant Rock Bottom Brewery, hews to the expected mode — crab cakes, chopped salad, prime rib — but with a few twists. On top of tables topped with stamped butcher paper you might see geographically themed burgers (the Little Italy: mozzarella, arugula, basil pesto, and balsamic-marinated tomatoes on Italian bread), sesame-encrusted calamari, or a lobster-laden seafood cobb. Rock Bottom vet Christopher McCoy adds a performative element to his cooking with tableside salad preparations and martini shaking. Read on for the full menu.
