We were bereft over recent rumors that David Myers’ Sona could be closing, a charge the LaCienega restaurant rightfully denied in the face of a changing management group. There’s no surer sign of Sona’s survival than its celebration of seven years this month. To properly encapsulate seven years of Sona, Myers is picking seven of the restaurant’s favorite tasting menu courses into a special anniversary menu, to be served Tuesday through Thursdays at dinner for $77. Dishes like a Tahitian squash soup and Maine lobster risotto with shellfish emulsion will show the delicate preparations and bold flavors of this gem. Reservations can be made at (310) 659-7708, and the full 7th anniversary menu is below.
