As you might have heard by now, Danny Meyer’s Mailalino opened last night, and Jazz in Strange Places was there to eat up what she says was “the most flavorful veal i’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.” Also there last night, according to Jazz, was Dana Cowin, Ruth Reichl, and Anna Wintour. Reichl approved of her meal, judging by her tweet: “Woke up thinking about Maialino rolls: rich little puffs of guanciale and pecorino. Utterly irresistible.
