During a conversation with Eater, Tom Colicchio calls B.S. on Frank Bruni teasing him for picking up the phone while in his open kitchen (“Big deal. I could be calling a supplier”), reveals that Damon Frugal Fridays were discontinued because it was priced too cheaply (Tom Tuesday Dinner, meanwhile, continues on and is still just as hard to score a seat at), and without offering details, says that he’s planning a TTD-esque restaurant for next year. More good news: He says his business has been up since October, and it seems to be the case with others, too.
