Pub & Kitchen is offering a limited edition “Japanese pub menu” this weekend, starring sea urchin. The $37 prix fixe includes two uni-enhanced courses and a Hitachino Nest Ginger beer. There are only 20 to go around; see the menu here.

• If your travels bring you to Dirty Jerz, the Maple Shade location of Iron Hill Brewery will host a brewer’s reserve tasting with fellow Jersey brewers Flying Fish on Saturday, October 24 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. It’s pay-as-you-go and for these special beers, which include Iron Hill’s Heywood Tripel, 2004 Barleywine, and Totally Inappropriate and Flying Fish’s Exit 4 American Tripel, Belgian Imperial Cru, and Grand Cru. • Blocktoberfest, a benefit for the renovation of the historic Shiloh Baptist Church, will
take place on Saturday, October 24 from noon to 8 p.m. on Christian Street between 20th and 21st Streets. There will be bands, food from Flying Monkey, Honest Tom’s Taco Truck and craft brewers will be serving up their suds, plus there will be live music. [Blocktoberfest]
