Fergus Henderson isn’t the only Michelin-starred Brit paying us a visit. Indeed, the country’s most lauded chef, Heston Blumenthal of the Fat Duck, is coming to town for a couple of days in November. On the 11th, he’ll be at Alessi Soho to sign copies of his Fat Duck Cookbook, a more manageable and cheaper version of the Big Fat Duck Cookbook (RSVP to RSVP10@bdeonline.biz by November 5 to secure a spot). The next day, Blumenthal will stop in to Williams Sonoma in the Time Warner Center. Barring any surprises, he won’t be cooking for us, à la Henderson or Robuchon — hopefully next time!
