This Saturday’s edition of Good Food with Evan Kleiman on KCRW is a star-studded one. L.A. Farm and Top Chef’s Stefan Richter will appear to detail how pies are made in Finland, riffing on Kleiman’s efforts to bake a different pie every day through summer. While the talented chef provides said cultural insight, we only hope he says something totally bat-guano crazy, and if not, will have to be content just giggling at his accent. On the dark side of the food force, Jonathan Gold and Russ Parsons will discuss the death of Gourmet with Kleiman, forming a power trio of qualified L.A. food writers to examine the sudden passing that shook up the eating establishment this week.
