Chef Jason Travi will raise the curtain on a second location of Fraiche next Wednesday. Yes, while we’ve had our eyes on his newest place, Riva, which recently reinvented itself as a stuzzichini restaurant to encouraging reviews, Travi has been working to duplicate the popularity of his first restaurant. Squid Ink tell us new dishes and “twists” will be added, alongside the Culver City locale’s more popular items. However, no one can tell us where the sequel to Fraiche will take place. Most likely to keep food bloggers off their backs and phone lines, Travi and his crew are keeping the whereabouts hush-hush until the website debuts on Monday to take reservations, or until some pesky foodie with a computer, a bus pass, and lots of time cracks the code.
