Cantu and Roche are here to bring you to the future
We know for sure now that Homaro Cantu’s odd, intriguing, secretive behavior for the past few months is all in anticipation of a TV show, and Chicagoist has some more details: Future Food (featuring the Moto chef and sidekick/pastry dude Ben Roche performing edible science experiments) will air in early 2010 on Discovery Network’s Planet Green channel, with a pickup already for a second season. Planet Green, you might recall, is the same channel that commissioned the Bleeding Heart Bakery reality show pilot — maybe they’ll air back-to-back? A Chicago-area foodie power-hour? [Chicagoist]
