Goodbye Franky’s, Hello Cutty’s

Franky ‘N The Boys is no longer and Cutty’s Foods is lined up to take its spot, reports the Brookline TAB blog. Cutty’s owner Charles Kelsey, a Culinary Institute of America graduate and a former writer for Gourmet, tells us that he originally wanted to open a food truck in Cambridge, but since the city rejected his plans, he’s going to open a brick and mortar spot in Brookline. Cutty’s will offer what Kelsey calls “handcrafted food” for lunch and dinner, with dishes like carrot and saffron soup, and chickpea salad with carrot and cilantro. Cutty’s expects to open in December.
