Jeremy Duclut, executive chef of George Perrier’s Main Line stalwart Georges, competed on Chopped, the Food Network’s cooking competition show last night and won $10,000.
The competitors get mystery ingredients for each course - Duclut was on the receiving end of pickled prunes, eel and parsnips (for dessert) among other unexpected items. Perrier gave props to his protege, saying, “I am very proud of Jeremy and glad the judges saw that his technique was so much better than the others.”
