Get the First Taste of Flying Fish Exit 1 Tonight

Flying Fish Brewing continues its beer-inspired meander down the New Jersey Turnpike with tonight’s release of Exit 1, the latest in the Cherry Hill-based brewery’s Exit Series of beers inspired by the Garden State’s much-maligned highway. Exit 1 Bayshore Oyster Stout is described as a “classic oyster stout, a once-ubiquitous style brewed with local oysters.” Brewer Casey Hughes sourced the Delaware Bay oysters from local oystermen in Port Norris, NJ and it’s a natural pairing with oysters. Get the first sips of the beer tonight at one of two release parties, both of which conveniently occur before Game 1 starts tonight. Click through for details.

Oyster House, naturally, will offer Exit 1 on draft from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight and will serve buck-a-shuck oysters from 7 p.m. through the end of the game. Standard Tap will have the first firkin of Exit 1 and both locations of The Foodery will have bottles of Exit 1 for sale. The limited edition beer is a one-time only release and is available only on draft or in 750 mL bottles. The previous brews, Exit 4 and Exit 11 have long been sold out.
