A Decent Meal at Catch 35; Great Deals at Rosa de Lima

• In this climate of rapid-fire chef shuffling and exciting new restaurant openings, all it takes for Pat Bruno to re-review a tired old saw is one of his friends telling him he had a nice meal there. So this week we’re at Catch Thirty Five, which Bruno finds is “holding up rather nicely.” Oh, and the appetizers are plated “with pizzazz.” [Sun-Times]

• Bruno really gets into the chicken at Rosa De Lima, which he admits is really the reason most people visit that the restaurant. But he finds good stuff off the poultry path — particlarly the beef stew, which at $12 for a heaping portion is a great deal. [Sun-Times]
