The 70-year-old lobster that Ryan Sutton sympathetically dubbed Larry will be released by Oceana, according to the Daily News. The paper says it’s unclear what will happen to Larry, but the restaurant was so bombarded with calls after news of the eleven-pound crustacean got out that it has decided against selling him for $275. Reaction among Grub Street commenters ranged from “Larry should get a ‘get out of jail free’ card! Come on, this is an easy one!!!” to “Eat it already. Lobsters are meant to be eaten. It is part of the food chain. Yum Yum Yum!”
