Dante de Magistris’ recent dinner at the James Beard House in New York was attended by a bevy of morning TV show producers, reports Nation’s Restaurant News writer Bret Thorn. This struck us as curious, so we reached out to de Magistris’ spokesperson Nicole Russo to get the scoop. She tells us that the dante chef wants to get his name out there to attract more destination diners to dante and Belmont’s Il Casale, but he’s not planning to leave Boston to become a celebrity chef anytime soon.
