What to Eat at Ancora’s New Pasta Bar

If paintings of John Stamos aren't your style, rest assured that a new Italian joint will have the likes of Sophia Loren on its walls. Tony Fantastico is opening up the ground floor of his subterranean Stone Street eatery Ancora (heretofore used mostly for private parties) and calling it Pasta Bar. The annex will be decorated with prints by photographer Ron Galella, who, along with fellow pap Patrick McMullan, will host a party ahead of the September 22 opening. As the name implies, the 60-seat venue will be more casual, with a freestanding bar and a menu of small plates, which you can read below.
