Tea: So Hot Right Now?

Tea sommeliers are the next big thing! So says the Sun-Times, citing the influence of Chas Kroll, founder and honcho of the American Tea Masters Association. Kroll treated S-T reporter Thomas Conner to a tasting at the Drake’s Palm Court, where he discussed his grand plan to position tea as the new wine, via training students to be ATMA-certified Tea Masters. Kroll maintains that “a lot of people say you have to be in the industry for 10, 20, even 30 years to be considered a tea master,” but he’s selling a speedy route to the top through his Tea Mastery Certification Course™, conducted via Skype. If you too would like to ride this no-doubt explosive trend all the way home, it’ll be a mere $1,625. Disabled American veteran? You get a discounted price of $1,075!
