Pretty Much Everything At Belly Shack Will Be From L.A.

To drum up excitement for Belly Shack, Bill Kim’s Asian-Latin sequel to Urban Belly, he’s released some short videos taking a look at the creation of the restaurant’s space. In keeping with his L.A. inspiration, Kim is pulling material from L.A.-based sources: music from Giorgio Piovan (you read that right: the restaurant will have a custom-composed soundtrack), cast-iron table legs from Old Good Things, and a tabletop from Cellar Door Studio made from 200-year-old reclaimed maple, video of which we’ve got for you here.
