It’s been a big week for restaurant reopenings — last Wednesday, A Voce unveiled its new Columbus Circle digs (it’s closed tonight and tomorrow for parties) and today, San Domenico reopened. Also relaunching today: Oceana’s bright new space in the McGraw-Hill Building boasts a raw bar where the daily catch is displayed, a full-service bar for cocktails and dining (including during the gap between lunch and dinner), a chef’s table allowing a view of Ben Pollinger at work, and three private dining rooms, including a “wine suite” where diners can sup surrounded by glass-encased racks. Next year, there’ll also be outdoor seating. We’ve already shared some of the design details, but have a look at how it turned out, and at the sprawling menus.
