Michael Sullivan Leaves Greenpoint’s Anella

Michael Sullivan, Chanterelle/Le Zinc alum and chef of Anella in Greenpoint, has departed the well-reviewed neighborhood trattorias stoves effective this past weekend, cooking his last brunch on Sunday, September 20th. Sullivan, now evaluating new culinary projects, plans to compete as an independent entrant in The Food Networks New York Food and Wine Festivals Meatball Madness Contest on October 9th, a spot he secured with the story of his Irish grandmother Dollys recipe, a fan favorite.
