Dan McGee Is Swissotel’s New Exec Chef


South suburban superstar chef Dan McGee is taking over the reins as the executive chef at the Swissotel Chicago, reports the Tribune. McGee previously held that very position up until five years ago, when he left to open his eponymous Frankfort restaurant (to which Phil Vettel awarded two stars last August). Dan McGee (the restaurant) will remain open with sous chef Alex Gonzales in charge, while Dan McGee (the man) will be devoting most of his energies to the Swissotel gig. [The Stew]
