Chef Chris Ennis has parted ways with Essex Public House only three months after the Hollywood restaurant launched. There’s no big drama to report, Essex reps only tell us the talented chef has moved on to “pursue other opportunities.” The chef has bounced around this town a bit (Vibrato, Asia de Cuba, One Sunset), so hopefully he’ll find a safe place to cook next time. Ennis’ menu is still available at the restaurant, with a few new comfort creations thrown in for football season and owners Greg Link and Hunter Hensley still at the helm. We’ll look out for Ennis’ next move, and until then, wish him luck.
