What to Eat from Craft’s Masumoto Peach Tasting Menu

Craft is currently running one peach of a tasting menu featuring the soft fuzzy fruit from Masumoto Family Farm. The restaurant’s pastry chef Shannon Swindle recently brought staff members to help during harvest at the Fresno area Masumoto, a grower dedicated to organics that recently told Grub Street San Francisco of its personal “challenge of trying to grow something perfect.” The seven course peach-centric menu by Swindle and chef Anthony Zappola runs for $100 per person, with an additional charge of $65 for those who want wine pairings. Peaches will be served raw, poached, and pickled, as consomme and jam, and in a mostarda and ice-cream. So what exactly will a big bill buy you before Craft exhausts its peach supply? Take a look:
