Carte 415 opens for its first lunch service right about now in the atrium of 101 Second St. After a months-long delay due to planning and health permits, former Chez TJ chef Joshua Skenes, who conceived of the high-end lunch-cart idea back in November says it feels “great” to finally be open. He said he plans to open more carts in the near future, now that he’s nailed down the process. For today, though, he’s just hoping to sell out of food. “We’d love to do 300 people a day,” he said. Asked about the possibility of ever moving into a building, Skenes said, “I think we’ll keep it in various forms of the cart, but there’s always a possibility.” Check out today’s menu below.
