Pasta Pomodoro’s presence in the city dropped by 20 percent today as its Irving Street location closed. The chain that SF Weekly readers voted the best Italian food in San Francisco shuttered its Inner Sunset location after 10 years in business, leaving a meagre four Pomodoro stores left in the city limits. Fortunately, the chain has some 29 locations outside the city to cushion the blow. On deck for the now-dark 816 Irving St.: A new location for Laurel Heights’ Beautifull.
