When Tony Bourdain visited the Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market he was “ready to unload a sizeable and snark-tastic Cleavland steamer on these people.” Hoping to find an overpriced taco full of b.s. with which to beat up on the effete Bay Area in general, he instead happened upon some impressive tamales that he considered a good deal at $9 (obviously never met the Virginia Ramos, but let’s let him have this one).
