Montauk diners will soon be getting a great big taste of L.A. as James Beard-nominated chefs Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo of Fairfax’s Animal plan to set up shop at Sole East on Long Island for a week this coming August.
While we can’t wait to see how the Martha Stewart-set handles the Venice-friendly look of these Floridian wunderchefs, who will surely be comfortable on Montauk’s crowded, humid beaches, Grub Street New York is smacking its chops over some of the possibilities the two might have on offer once they hit the East Coast.
