Coveted La Frieda Burgers Now Available at FreshDirect

Only in todays burger-crazed age would you find mention of shoulder clod in a breaking news item, but then who can blame A Hamburger Today for being excited about the fact that Pat La Frieda, which had previously sold its ground meats only to restaurants, will now be offering three varieties via FreshDirect. Those dont include the Minetta Taverns Black Label burger (dry-aged rib eye, skirt steak, and brisket), but they do include a blend of Creekstone Farms hormone-free brisket, a short-rib blend, and the familiar combo of brisket, chuck, and short rib. Clearly were going to have to conduct a taste test along the lines of our hot-dog experiment, featuring Marlow & Daughters, Japan Premium Beef, and other boutique butchers that have suddenly made home hamburger flipping a lot more glamorous.
