‘What Would Brian Boitano Make’ Skates Onto the Food Network

Apparently Brian Boitano throws quite the dinner parties at his house right here in San Francisco. This is a fact Grub Street was unaware of because we’ve never been invited. That’s all going to change though, when Boitano starts his new show, What would Boitano Make on the Food Network August 23rd at 1 p.m. Okay, no it’s not. Watching daytime TV is a pretty weak consolation prize to a party invite at a famous Olympian’s house, but at least we’ll all get to see what Boitano is like behind the range.

According to the press release, the show consists primarily of Boitano cooking for a bunch of people in some kind of dinner party situation: “He feeds an all-girl roller derby squad, plays matchmaker for a friend, wins over his handyman’s supper club, and plans a surprise party celebrating new motherhood.” Perhaps the skating master chef would like to be challenged to impress a hard-nosed food blogger and his hilarious friends? We’re waiting for our invitation, Brian.
