Oh, Grant Achatz. MenuPages Chicago points out that he already has a cookbook, a documentary, and a feature film in the works, and now per Diner’s Journal, he’s working on a memoir, too — just in case his frequent tweets weren’t insight enough. Amazingly, he has taken the unusual step of leaking his own proposal to more than one site, and Eater has posted a PDF of it. Admittedly, our first instinct was to scold Achatz for being Howard Stern–like in his quest to be the king of all media, but then we started reading the proposal, and reading some more, and got to the part where his mentor Charlie Trotter rages, “You are disrespecting these beautiful peaches!” Okay, we are 100 percent sold. Also on the Chicago front, MenuPages has news that Top Chef Radhika is, contrary to a rumor that she was planning to join the team at Tabla, working on a restaurant of her own. But where?
