A tipster recently told us that Tasty Hand-Pulled Noodles was about to start serving shaved ice. Pork-bone soup and shaved ice in the same place? Where do we sign up?! A call to the restaurant reveals that the ice-maker hasn’t yet set up shop, so you might want to call ahead before you go down. Or leave your number with them like we did. Meanwhile some bad news on the Chinatown front — Good Dumpling House has now been closed, with no signs of life, for over two weeks. Although we can’t confirm a commenter’s tip that the property has been sold, we’re thinking she’s a goner.
