An employee at a Buffalo Grove Wendy’s is being applauded as “quick-thinking” for thwarting what police believe to be the latest in a string of attempts to steal a fast-food order from the drive thru, Chicago Breaking News reports: “About 9 p.m. as a clerk was handing an order to the driver of a van, a person appeared from the shadows and attempted to grab the order, police said.” During previous incidents in this heinous crime spree, the criminals were successful in their theft, but this time the Wendy’s employee had panther-esque reflexes that enabled him to not let go of the bag. “We’re assuming there’s some orchestration,” police Cmdr.
