In late March, just before the baseball season began, the Yankees announced the Legends Culinary Series, a catering program for premium seating that would bring top New York chefs to the Yankees Legends Club Suite, an exclusive bar and cafeteria-style restaurant on the field level. The format at Legends is closer to buffet than proper sit-down, but that doesn’t automatically make it bad. Plus, thanks to a partnership with Southern Wine and Spirits, there’s free wine alongside the guest chefs’ offerings. The chefs are not there in name only — Alex Guarnaschelli was certainly manning her station earlier this month, serving a pan-cooked shrimp in something of a salsa verde sauce. It was, and chefs’ offerings will be, far and away the best of the menu items on offer. Below, see the full lineup for the remainder of the season:

Tuesday, June 2nd 7:05, Michael Lomonaco (vs. Texas)
Saturday, June 13th, Nobu Matsuhisa (vs. Mets)
Tuesday, June 16th 7:05, Waldy Malouf (vs. Washington)
Wednesday, June 17th 7:05, François Payard (vs. Washington)
Tuesday, June 30th 7:05, Masaharu Morimoto (vs. Seattle)
Tuesday, July 21st 7:05, Roberto Paciullo (vs. Baltimore)

As for how to gain access to the restaurant where these chefs are cooking, it takes a top-end ticket to get in. Check out StubHub, where you can score a pair for less than $1,000 (cheap!).
