While we’re talking books: Maybe you read the Times piece about hipstavores and wondered how long it would take for someone to get a book deal out of it? As far as we know, nobody featured in the article has cashed in, but there is this deal memo from Publisher’s Marketplace.

Recipe developer Melissa Vaughan and GQ editor Brendan Vaughan’s THE NEW BROOKLYN COOKBOOK, a husband-and-wife-authored collection of stories, recipes, and resources from Brooklyn’s dining revolution, to Cassie Jones at William Morrow, for publication in fall 2010, by Larry Weissman at Larry Weissman Literary (World).
