How excited should you be that Skip Steele from Pappy’s Smokehouse has been added to the roster of the Big Apple Barbecue Block Party? A reader gushes: “Can I just tell you I went to Pappy’s this weekend. There was some huge rib festival going on in downtown St. Louis, and I asked my friend if we should go. He was like, no, we should go to Pappy’s. So we get there, and there is a line, like, 45 minutes long … on a day when there is a giant rib festival going on elsewhere in the city.” Nice.
