We’re not the only ones who took umbrage with this week’s Globe article wherein J. Kenji Alt ranked Boston’s best East and West Coast style burgers. Over at burger blog A Hamburger Today, a debate has been raging in the comments between Alt and one “millions.” millions is especially appalled that Alt spoke ill of the burgers at the much-lauded R.F. O’Sullivan’s and he’s challenged Alt to a gentleman’s duel throwdown at O’Sullivan’s at 1pm today. All burger enthusiasts are invited to the cordial debate and burger taste test.
Oh, and for those wondering how Alt could have left Mr. Bartley’s Burger Cottage off the list, it’s because he believes that “it’s one of the most highly overrated burger spots in the country.” Blasphemy.
