Proprietor Peter Longo tells us that Porto Rico’s Williamsburg location, at 636 Grand Street near Leonard Street, has opened its backyard, and it’ll stay open from 9 a.m. till 7 p.m. every day. While you wait for the weather to improve, you might want to hit Porto Rico’s website: Certain beans are as much as $2 off per pound, through Friday. And in other coffee news, Cacio e Pepe owner Giusto Priola has opened an Italian café and food shop, Ballarò Caffè Prosciutteria, at 77 Second Avenue near East 4th Street. Per Flo Fab, the bar will serve shakeratos, made with espresso shaken over ice.
