First Look at Chabela’s, Bringing Homestyle Dominican to the EV

In this week’s openings, Robin Raisfeld and Rob Patronite say the menu at Chabela’s “skews toward the homestyle cooking of one of the owners’ Dominican mother-in-law and includes dishes like: guinea hen guisada (guinea hen stew), mondongo (tripe soup), berengena guisada (eggplant stew), and chuletas (fried pork chops).” Now, here’s a look at the streamlined space whose windows open wide for sunny days like this one.
