It’s a mysterious case, with inconclusive details: Thien Ngo left Fork in January, after seven years in the kitchen, purportedly to retire to Vietnam. A short while after this announcement, he popped up at Coquette Bistro & Wine Bar, where he was set to enliven the menu with a Vietnamese-Thai touch. A money question came up on March 21, and the next day, Ngo went totally AWOL. Nearly three weeks have passed, but no one knows where he is, nor has anyone been able to reach him.
