After a reader sent us a tip last week (“I know Top Chef is going to be in Las Vegas. I know someone leaving to go there this weekend to start prepping for it”), we e-mailed Bravo for confirmation, but the network is sticking to its guns — the location of next season won’t be revealed until June. In the meantime, bidding for dinner with Toby Young is now at over $500, with a day to go. Which means we don’t have to watch the president’s upcoming press conference — clearly the economy is as strong as ever. Update: An L.A. Times writer tweets that he has confirmed that Top Chef will be in Vegas. Again, Bravo is still stalling, but with the prior evidence in hand, we’re going to say Top Chef: Vegas is a lock.
