The recall of Union International Food Co.’s spices for possible salmonella contamination keeps widening, and while you may be able to avoid buying the Union City company’s products at the store, you may still come in contact with them at a restaurant.
Fortunately, Gus, of We Eating, did a little investigating and got ahold of the company’s customer list (pdf). Most are in the Bay Area, with a good few in San Francisco. Before you go to another restaurant, take a look at this document real quick and make sure your place isn’t on it. If it is, skip it. No delivery food is worth the truly nasty symptoms of a salmonella infection.
