After May 1, Pay More for Beer and Wine

Wine and beer producers and distributors face increased state taxes starting May 1, but how will that affect drinkers? Expect to pay about two cents more for a bottle of wine and one to one-and-a-half cents more for a six-pack of beer, reports the Pour. To prevent stockpiling, stores will also be taxed for any inventory they have on May 1. As for individuals, we can hoard away.
