On the heels of yesterday’s post observing that Dutch Kills has yet to open, Richard Boccato tells Blackbook he’s now aiming for next month. After some more construction, there’ll be eight booths, a bar seating seven (where you can watch ice being cut), and a neon sign outside. Despite a somewhat isolated location near Queensboro Plaza, Boccato seems confident that, with the help of a ragtime band, he can reach the capacity of 75 people: “If there has to be a wait outside, there has to be a wait outside.” [Blackbook]
