We got slammed with a serious case of déjà vu while poking around on the website of Orland Park’s sparkly new Osteria Ottimo. That orange-on-orange design, the drop-shadow white Europa all-caps bracketed by a soothing orange serif typeface, those horizontal lines over the Os, that friendly scalloped medallion shape — where have we seen that before?
Oh yeah. It’s the exact typeface, color scheme, and design of Otto, Mario Batali’s New York pizza restaurant.
