Soul Food Star Returns to Harlem

Amy Ruth’s founder Carl Redding may have sold his soul-food brand after ten years, but he has made amends with southern-food fans by opening a cheaper, takeout-only spot called Doc’s. Per Uptown Flavor, a “Recession Rescue Menu serves a family of four a choice of chicken, ribs or fish, plus three sides, biscuits and soda for $24.99.” [Uptown Flavor]
