More on Johnny Iuzzini’s Cocktail Concept

By

Pastry playboy Johnny Iuzzini tells the Restaurant Girl a little bit more about the cocktail bar hes working on with Dave Arnold of the French Culinary Institute. So far, they dont have a space or investors, but with three months of training at PDT under his belt, Iuzzini is confident hell be offering drinks that are flavor forward, they will pop, and they will be fresh and new. Hes only created two cocktails PDTs Concord-grape concoction, the Heirloom, as well as the East Village Globe Trotter, which he came up with for his girlfriend (sorry, ladies) but with a Japanese spherical ice press and Dave Arnolds alcoholic pickle-and-liquid-nitrogen martini in the mix, you know this is going to be good. The two are also pitching a TV show.
