Bedford Cheese Shop Will Launch Funky Cheese Classes Next Month

By

Charlotte Kamin, owner of Williamsburg’s Bedford Cheese Shop, tells us that in March she’ll begin hosting classes — each dedicated to a cheesemaking country — as well as roundhouse-style discussions about American cheese and their European inspirations. Sure, cheese courses are a dime a dozen, but let’s remember, this is the shop that describes a Beermat Kuntener (to take just one example) as smelling “like a proctologist’s finger after a busy day.” Should be fun! Classes will range from $45 to $75 (including wine pairings and, in some cases, dinner at a neighboring restaurant). To stay posted, e-mail info@bedfordcheeseshop.com.
