A First Look at Barberry, Now Open in Williamsburg

We had a chance to visit Barberry to snag a menu and get the interior shots you see here. The place is quite lovely, and now that the owners have split Zipi Zape’s 80-year-old bar in two and moved it off to the side, the layout is much more inviting. One word of warning: When chef-owner Diego Gonzales’s Argentinian mixed grill comes out, the entire room is smoked out, fajitas style. Be ready to send out some apologetic glasses of cava to your fellow diners. Here’s the rest of the dinner offerings.
